This policy explains what HeyBrie (heybrie.ai), operated by Coffee Cake And Real Estate Corp., collects and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and password when you sign up.
- Your questions and Brie’s answers. For logged-in members, recent conversations are saved so you can pick up where you left off, and Brie may remember short facts you share (for example a property you own or your plans). Guests’ conversations are not saved.
- Files you attach (photos and PDFs). These are sent to our AI provider to answer your question and are not stored on our website.
- Contact requests. If you ask an agent to follow up, we keep the name, phone number, email, property address and request you give us.
- Payment information for HeyBrie Plus is collected and stored by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Usage and technical data, such as how many questions you ask each day, your IP address (used in scrambled form to apply guest limits), browser type and cookies needed for logging in.
How we use it
- to answer your questions and run the service;
- to apply free and paid question limits and prevent abuse;
- to have a licensed agent contact you, only when you ask for that;
- to process payments and manage your subscription;
- to improve HeyBrie and keep it secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- OpenAI, which provides the AI that writes Brie’s answers. Your questions, attached files and relevant conversation history are sent to OpenAI for this purpose. Under OpenAI’s API terms, this data is not used to train their models by default.
- RentCast, when you ask about a specific property address (only the address is sent).
- Stripe, for payments.
- WordPress.com / Automattic, which hosts our website.
- Our licensed agents at Coffee Cake And Real Estate, for contact requests you make.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Saved chats keep roughly your 20 most recent exchanges. What Brie remembers stays until you ask her to forget it or you delete your account. Contact requests are kept as business records. Account information is kept while your account is open.
Your choices
- Use the Clear chat button to delete your saved conversation.
- Ask Brie to “forget what you know about me” to erase her memory of you.
- Email us to see, correct or delete your personal information or to close your account.
- Don’t include sensitive information (Social Security numbers, bank details, health information) in your questions.
Children
HeyBrie is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do.
